Small Grants Scheme

Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Stephen Mold set up the Making Northamptonshire Safer Fund in 2017 to give grants to community groups, charities and other voluntary organisations so that they can carry out initiatives that prevent and tackle crime and support victims. The fund has provided over £190,000 to allow 23 different groups to undertake a wide variety of projects. The Commissioner has now extended his Making Northamptonshire Safer Fund to include a Small Grants Scheme.

Previous recipients of the OPFCC Making Northamptonshire Safer Fund

A Small Grants Scheme for bids under £3,000 (from £500) is now being offered through the Office of the Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, which will give groups even more options when seeking funding.

The Small Grants panel will meet on a monthly basis to assess the bids, which can be applied for all year round.
